House Ozaki, operated by Megumi Ozaki (“House Ozaki,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit houseozaki.com (the “Site”) or subscribe to our mailing list, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or subscribing, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need:

• Information you give us. When you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your email address and your first and last name. When you contact us through the Site, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
• Information collected automatically. As with most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the Site running. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect more than what is described here.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• send you our newsletter and updates about our work, events, and studio news, where you have asked to receive them;
• respond to messages or inquiries you send us;
• operate, maintain, and protect the Site; and
• comply with our legal obligations.

We will only send you marketing emails if you have subscribed and confirmed your subscription. Every marketing email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply to you, our legal basis for sending you marketing emails is your consent, which you give by subscribing and confirming. You can withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing.

• Zoho — we use Zoho Mail and Zoho Campaigns to manage our mailing list and send email.
• SiteGround — our website hosting provider.

We are based in the United States, and your information may be stored and processed in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate.

How long we keep your information

We keep your subscription information for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we will remove it from our active mailing list, except where we need to keep limited records to comply with the law or to prevent abuse.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails;
• Ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, by emailing hello@houseozaki.com.

The Site and our mailing list are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
